About Our Used and Consigned Harps

Used and consigned used harps are available on occasion. These are either owned outright by West Coast Harps with a limited warranty or owned by a third party and are consigned to West Coast Harps on an "as is" basis.

Unless otherwise stated, the listed harps for sale here are in our current possession allowing for transparency and accuracy as to their posted description and condition. Our used harps may be viewed at our Cedar, BC studio by appointment.

For harps not on-site, potential purchasers are encouraged to view instrument first before committing. West Coast Harps endeavors to provide as much information as we can to assist your decision-making

Shipping of Used harps can often be arranged through West Coast Harps within Canada.

Timothy Habinski (NS) - 34-string lever harp

  • 34-string lever harp made by Timothy Habinski (NS, Canada) in 1997. One careful owner
  • Full set of loveland levers
  • Hardwood soundbox, neck & pillar 
  • Laminate soundboard - repaired in 2020  under direction of local luthier (BC). Specialty glue and small brass screws used to reattach soundboard to soundbox. Wood filler dots on soundboard can be stained to match soundboard colour
  • Weight: 8.8 kg / 19.5 lb
  • Height:  1.25cm/49" at top of pillar, 112 cm/44" at top of neck/soundbox joint
  • Depth (front to back): 69cm/27" / Width: 33cm/13"
  • New strings installed: January 2022
  • Includes partial set of spare strings, tuning wrench, custom hardwood raiser, homemade bag​

  • Serial #: G3 S6444
  • Levers on all B, F & C strings enable play in 4 major keys
  • Maple neck & pillar, maple laminate soundbox
  • Includes padded leatherette carrying case, knee-stick and tuning wrench
  • As-new condition, no blemishes

  • 102 string hammered dulcimer with solid spruce top
  • Luthier: - Peter Peturschnigg, Lienz-Tirol
  • 34 courses of 3 strings each in semi-tones ascending
  • Bottom note: E below middle C
  • Top note: C# 2 octaves above middle C
  • Total range: almost 3 octaves, chromatic
  • Excellent condition, some cosmetic scratches on back
  • Weight: approx 20 lb
  • Dimensions:  top edge: 38cm/15",  bottom edge: 91cm/36", breadth: 56cm/22", height: 6cm/2.5"
