West Coast Harps bears all the cost of the harp importation into Canada including the fluctuation in CAD$ exchange rates. We sell with the lowest list price we are permitted by our suppliers. There are several payment options available. We do not accept debit or credit cards as their overheads would increase list price by approximately 4% - we would rather pass the savings directly to you. Interac Email Money Transfers are our preferred method to transfer larger sums. These are available through your login at your bank's website. Email Money Transfers are restricted to CAD$ only but are very fast, simple and secure. Each bank has a different daily limit so multiple transfers may be required for larger sums. We usually ship upon receipt of funds depending on harp and shipping availability. For all payments less than CAD$1000 and immediate delivery we recommend Canada Post Postal Orders - we accept multiple orders for larger sums. They can be bought with Cash or Debit only at your local P.O. for a $7.00 fee each. We usually ship upon receipt of funds in the mail depending on harp and shipping availability. We also accept Bank Wire Transfers as a form of payment for larger sums (greater than CAD$1000). Contact us for our transfer account information. Your bank's service charges may vary from free to approximately $25 and the process is easily handled by your bank teller. We usually ship upon receipt of funds depending on harp and shipping availability. We gladly accept cash, cheques or bank cheques in the correct currency as quoted. We reserve the right to wait for a paper cheque to clear at our bank before shipping. Certified bank or personal cheques both clear in 21-30 days. Our bank no longer differentiates certified cheques as being more reliable. All cheque and postal order payments are preferred to be in the name of "West Coast Harps" with "Alison Vardy" being an acceptable alternative. Deposits West Coast Harps accepts a 30% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit in CAD$ on any instrument we currently have in stock in our Studio. This holds the price you have been quoted for up to 60 days. Full payment is due before shipping the instrument to you. GST, HST and PST Taxes Federal sales tax rules apply for all WCH sales in Canada - GST [5% in AB SK MB PE ] or HST [13% ON NB NL /15% NS] or both GST and PST (total of 12% BC). No provincial sales taxes are charged for purchases from WCH shipped out of BC. NB: Out-of-BC residents who travel and pick up a harp in the WCH Victoria BC Studio in person are subject to BC sales taxes and not the tax regime of their home province. The harp must be shipped by WCH outside of BC [with shipping receipt] for your home province tax regime to apply. You are welcome to come view a harp which we will subsequently ship to you. |
