The Harpsicle™ Stick/Knee Brace and a shoulder strap are highly recommended by Alison Vardy for the ease of playing your Harpsicle Harp. the Stick clamps to the back of the harp and rests on the knees/thighs while seated. This stops the harp from "squirming" and also stops the harpist from tensing to prevent the harp from squirming. It is very important to be as relaxed as possible when playing especially as a beginner harpist.
