Description: The FH36H is one of the two largest professional FH Series of harps that Dusty Strings produces. It has a rich, even 5-octave range from C, 2 octaves below middle C to C, 3 octaves above middle C. Choice of wood for the soundbox will subtly affect voicing of the harp; maple being characteristically brighter, walnut mellower, sapele true and even, cherry and bubinga rich and sweet. Whatever the wood you choose, your harp will command admiration for its tone, balance, workmanship and beauty.

The FH36H has a rectangular soundbox with hybrid staves on the upper corners, as opposed to the full stave-back shape of the FH36S. The rectangular soundbox tends to produce a more articulated, defined sound throughout the harp’s range, and projects particularly well. The partial staves increase playing comfort as the harp rests on your right shoulder. This is a high-quality harp to enjoy playing and listening to for a lifetime!

This is a highly recommended harp for the aspiring or professional player who performs both amplified and acoustically. Its clear bell like tone cuts through the mix and does not get "muddy" with reverb and effects. the Dusty internal pickup is a perfect match for this harp with a very high quality sound with little feedback.
