elect to visit Victoria on Vancouver Island, have a few
harp lessons with Alison, test play their desired
harp, and partake in the fine dining and world class attractions
available on the West Coast. Victoria BC is regularly rated
in the top ten "must visit" locations in North
America. Returning home with the perfect harp is simply a
divine culmination for an already great trip.
The Teaching of the Harp
Alison Vardy has performed on the Celtic and paraguayan Harps for over twenty years. She brings this depth of experience to her teaching where she adapts her teaching style to each of her student's needs.
Alison has ten years of Conservatory [sight reading] training
on the piano and this is well balanced with her previous
experience as a regular Celtic harp [by ear] session musician
for a decade. Alison seeks to foster independence in her students with an emphasis on creativity and self-learning.

* $45 per 50 minute lesson in Victoria Studio [adults]
* $25 per 30 minute lesson in Victoria Studio [children]
* $50 per 50 minute lesson in Sidney [monthly by arrangement]
* $75 per 100 minute lesson
in Victoria Studio [out of town students]
* Group Lessons for workshops & festivals
* Initial Consultation Lessons (harp provided) to try out "harping"
Harp Rental Rates:
* Harps available to rent by the
month including 2 lessons
* Monthly harp rental plus 2 x 50 minute lessons for $150
total
* Various sizes of harps for rent subject to availability
