What - We Ship All of Our New Floor Harp Stock
Our harps do more than look, sound and play well - They ship well too! West Coast Harps only stocks harps that come with quality packaging from the harpmaker or are suitably sized to fit our shipping chests or collapsable crates. We improve and over-package all our shipments as a matter of pride.

So if you fall in love with a new floor harp
you see on our website we can ship it!

West Coast Harps on occasion ships from our stock of used harps subject to harp size and with full shipping cost recovery.

When - We Match Our Delivery Time to Your Schedule
We only ship after having a direct consultation with the harp's new owner (you!). Stephen Vardy at West Coast Harps negotiates/establishes a delivery date that is compatible with your schedule. We usually ship on Tuesdays out of Victoria BC and expect the harp to arrive within a 48 hour window at your shipping terminal.

Day & Ross shipment times are very predictable. You will receive a call from the shipping terminal when the harp arrives. You must collect it from the loading dock within one business day*. Stephen provides a full set of instructions and map so the process is relatively simple. We find the Day & Ross staff to be very helpful.

We do not ship during heat waves (+30C) nor cold snaps (-30C). We use heated shipping in the winter. Warehousing will be above freezing.

Your harp may be placed in a shipping cue pending the return of a two-way returning chest or crate. Stephen will keep you advised.

*NB: All shipments must be collected promptly (one business day) or you may be subject to a $25 per day storage fee as per the Day & Ross Tariff.

The Terminal Locator listings below give practical information on where West Coast Harps ship. The Day & Ross Terminals highlighted below are permanent WCH shipping locations. Each terminal listing has the various packaging options available when shipping to that location. All the locations listed include insurance and heated delivery as required.

The other transportation companies highlighted below are sister companies, affiliates or interline partners to Day & Ross and are subject to change. Stephen confirms with all interline shipping docks prior to shipping individual harps to these locations. Shipments to the interline locations listed below are both insured and with heated delivery as required.

The Direct deliveries highlighted below may be a bit more "creative" with delivery to a designated business or commercial address (residential deliveries attract an additional CAD$75 fee so we choose to not deliver to private residences).

Other shipping terminals may be available and are subject to further discovery and negotiation with Stephen but are subject to a number of factors including insurance issues. Stephen spends considerable time & effort ensuring that West Coast Harps maintains a quality delivery network with optimal outcomes.

All shipments are dock to dock (unless explicitly negotiated otherwise to another business address) and you must collect your harp at the specified terminal. We avoid home delivery as there are many unspecified and unforseen perils and charges.

NB: When collecting at a terminal locally Day & Ross may share signage and terminals with their sister company Sameday Worldwide.

West Coast Harps does not ship harps to the USA nor Internationally.

Two-Way Collapsable Crate - removable aluminum crate around cardboard box

                                lifting 18kg/40lbs of interior cardboard box to waist level.
One-Way Wooden Crate - you collect & keep wooden crate & interior packaging
                             - requires a pickup truck/full sized van and dolly.
