We’re small but we’re big! We are a family business with harpist/teacher Alison Vardy and sound technician/ webmaster/financial “comptroller” Stephen Vardy at the helm. We display lever and lap harps from up to 6 harpmakers in our Victoria showroom/studio and specialise in shipping them safely and economically to eager customers across Canada. All celtic & folk harps we sell are made in the USA or Canada from top-notch, internationally-known luthiers.

West Coast Harps ships celtic harps to every Canadian province and major city including Saskatoon. All lever harps for sale are first received in our studio, inspected, and tuned multiple times, before being repacked with additional protection for travel to their destination in temperature-controlled trucks to your closest depot for pick-up. We also sell used harps, pre-inspected and approved but in as-is condition with limited or no warranty. The Ravenna is a reliable, extremely portable instrument with a rich, satisfying sound. These are also ideal prairie harps as they are durable and winter hardy in the Northern Saskatchewan climate.

Dusty Strings uses the same innovative design and construction techniques as the popular Ravenna 34, with the Ravenna 26 offering the distinctive Dusty Strings sound at a very attractive price. It has a warm sound with a bright, clear treble, even string tension for precise playing. All Dusty products are made of high-quality materials and have refined craftsmanship for lasting value.

You can thoroughly enjoy exploring a three and a half octave range and this esthetically pleasing harp while still having an an ideal "prairie harp". The construction is both rugged and durable with the harp being very practical for low humidity environments such as the Canadian prairie winter or in homes heated with wood burning stoves. The ingenious design allows for any damaged part of the harp to be easily and inexpensively replaced by any handy person without returning the harp for repair.
