Alison & Stephen Vardy manage West Coast Harps out of Victoria BC Canada where we have a Studio with harps for sale. The majority of our sales are to people like yourself - a little removed from the Vancouver and Toronto bright lights of the world. We import the harps from the USA, cover all the brokerage, mis-applied duties and all the hiccups that inevitably happen at the border. You get a an price quote to the penny, a quality harp and secure delivery that suits your schedule all from within Canada.

Our celtic harp prices advantage Canadian purchasers as we absorb border transport and brokerage costs and offer you the equivalent USD price for your chosen lever harp model. An additional advantage for Regina folk harp purchasers is that only GST is charged when the harp on sale is shipped from our BC studio.

We do not drop-ship our lever harps but receive all celtic harps and hammered dulcimers in Victoria first so we can check them, season their tuning and package them again to arrive securely to you. We provide firm quotes including shipping and relevant taxes to the penny, so there are no surprises. Used harps are also available through West Coast Harps. All used lever harps are from known luthiers and pre-inspected and adjusted by Alison.

This is one of our newest harps: The Dusty Strings FH34 harp is a compact harp with full rich sound for both professional and beginner. Solid wood construction of soundbox, neck and pillar (options of sapele, maple, walnut, bubinga and koa). Tapered, seasoned soundboard of sitka spruce and mahogany overlaid with very thin veneer of bookmatched hardwood & bordered with purfling and edge binding for a most attractive finish.

Hybrid stave design of soundbox insures comfort of player and easy access to full range of harp. All the advantages of a FH36 harp in a more compact package!

To keep the carrying size of the FH34 to a minimum while retaining optimum height for playing including a beautifully crafted removable stand in matching wood. It has 5-inch removable legs and the stand nestles into the base of the harp, with an integrated threaded knob.

Package price includes a high-quality padded cordura nylon case with pockets, handles and shoulder strap, stand, tuning key and optional extra string set.
