Since West Coast Harp’s founding in 2005 we have shipped musical instruments to every province and territory in Canada and have many customers, including repeat ones, in Edmonton. We specialise in lever harps (ie. folk harps, celtic harps), hammered dulcimers and bowed psalteries and their accessories; strings, books, DVDs. We customarily sell harps and hammered dulcimers as packages with cases and stands and options of strings, books and DVDs. Our celtic harps for sale are ideal prairie instruments as they can withstand the lower humidity and winter temperatures. They are robustly built with kiln-dried woods yet excel in portability and sound.

Dusty Strings Ravenna 34D in Black

The Ravenna 34D is an ideal "Prairie Harp" as the soundboard is built of quality birch laminate and is thus able to withstand the low humidity and temperature of a prairie winter. It is the popular choice for many first-time and experienced players as it offers economy, a contemporary "look", and great sound, all in a compact, portable package.

The black soundbox (options of burgundy or green) is built in 5 staves for Player comfort when resting on the shoulder. Durable Ash wood is the timber used for soundbox, neck and pillar with the former being covered with a grain-textured "skin" and all 3 painted your colour of choice. External finish is an even matte and impervious to cosmetic damage.

The Ravenna 34D features the same quality hardware (threaded tuning pins and bridge pins, long-shank loveland levers) as all the Dusty Strings harps.They have an even, full voice that projects well and is easily ampllified.

West Coast Harps sells the Ravenna 34D package with a full set of loveland levers and a removeable stand with 4 unscrewable legs (choice of 5" or 8" legs). Our package also includes a sturdy, well-padded harp case with large pockets, comfortable handles and shoulder strap. Options that can be purchased include: gut strings, spare string set, installed pick-up, backpack straps and coloured lever rings for accidentals or coloured strings
