These are the ideal prairie harp as they are made partially from laminates and are very resistant to the temperature and humidity changes on the Canadian prairies. We sell a lot of these harps into Calgary AB and other western Canada locations because they are an excellent value, highly playable and look pretty sharp.

The Ravenna 34D also has a gut strung option using Bow Brand Lever Harp Gut Strings. We usually have one or two in stock or can custom order in whatever colour you wish. The sound of a lever harp gut strung is less like a Celtic harp and a little closer to a pedal harp sound with a slightly shorter sustain on each note.
